Choate Awarded $152M Commonwealth Mixed-Use Development

Crosland Southeast and Nuveen Real Estate partner with Choate Construction Company to transform 12 acres in the heart of the Plaza Midwood neighborhood. The new mixed-use development, Commonwealth, will offer community members a bustling hub of apartments, mix of retailers and restaurants, and Class A office space.

“Our team has spent the last year diving deep into preconstruction efforts to navigate through pandemic price spikes, structural examination, various construction types, construction phasing and logistics, and early buyout of the project. Commonwealth is designed by BB+M Architecture, Axiom Architecture, Land Design, and 505 Design. The first phase will be delivered in the Spring of 2024.
