Choate recently celebrated a significant milestone: the 10th anniversary of our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). As an employee-owned company, every member of the Choate team has a direct stake in the company’s success — and that ownership mentality shapes how we show up for our clients, our trade partners, and each other.

To mark the occasion, employee-owners across all of our offices gathered for our annual ESOP Celebration, hosted live and broadcast from our Atlanta office. The event traced the company’s journey from its founding vision through the tangible impact the ESOP has had on the lives of our team members today and offered a look ahead at where Choate is headed in the next decade.

The celebration also included the announcement of our 2025 North Star Award, presented to Christie Green, Senior Accounts Payable Specialist. Christie has been part of the Choate family nearly since the beginning, and her consistency, care, and quiet dedication to protecting the company financially represent exactly what employee-ownership looks like in practice. The North Star Award recognizes the individual who best embodies Choate’s core values — and Christie earns that recognition every day.
