Choate Construction has been selected as the Construction Manager for the Mercer University College of Pharmacy on the Atlanta campus.

The new 60,000-SF facility designed by Lord, Aeck & Sargent Architecture will feature classroom space, office areas, and a Simulation Lab, designed to simulate a fully functioning pharmacy complete with an IV room.  The new building will house many of the functions currently located in the original School of Pharmacy, constructed by Choate in 1991.

“Choate is excited to work with Mercer University again and looks forward to delivering another top notch facility for this impressive University,” says Millard Choate, President of Choate Construction.

The project is expected to begin construction May of 2014 and complete May 2015.
