Striking architectural details distinguish the campus, including sweeping curtain walls, curved terraces, and a custom all-glass “princess” staircase requiring an extraordinary level of precision. To execute these details flawlessly, Choate employed laser scanning, extensive field measurements, and Building Information Modeling (BIM).
Visible from I-85, a 110-foot-tall exterior car tower serves as one of the project’s most prominent features. Delivering this structure required exact floor-to-floor construction, advanced surveying, and 3D modeling in close collaboration with the German lift manufacturer.
Brand integration was equally intricate, with six Mercedes-Benz star logos strategically placed across the campus, including a 52-foot blade wall, the car tower, and throughout the showroom. Seamless installation within the curved exterior demanded precise coordination between the signage vendor, ACM panel installer, and electrical subcontractor.
Through meticulous planning, innovative solutions, and strong collaboration, Choate delivered a dealership that embodies both the elegance and engineering excellence synonymous with the Mercedes-Benz brand.
