The Space
Square Footage 80,000
Location Point Hope, SC
Located in the heart of Point Hope—a 9,000-acre master-planned community on the Cainhoy Peninsula—the MUSC Health Clements Ferry Pavilion is a four-story, 80,000-SF medical office building well on its way to delivering in early fall 2025. The placement of the 1,648th and final steel beam earlier this year marked a key milestone in the project’s steady progress and the broader effort to expand access to care across Berkeley County. This ground-up medical office building serves as a central hub for comprehensive outpatient care, bringing a wide range of specialty services under one roof. Patients have access to primary care, orthopedics, cardiology, oncology, gastroenterology, OB/GYN, neurology, ophthalmology, and an advanced imaging center—all in one modern, patient-friendly facility.

A Hub for Comprehensive, Patient-Centered Care

Strategically located within a vibrant mixed-use commercial district, this new facility enhances Charleston’s healthcare infrastructure while offering residents convenient access to high-quality care closer to home. The design embraces the Lowcountry aesthetic with calming, nature-inspired interiors that reflect the region’s landscape, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients and staff alike.

The integration of diverse specialties within a single location not only improves patient outcomes but also streamlines the healthcare experience, fostering collaboration among providers and making essential care more accessible for the region’s families.

Healthcare Designed with the Lowcountry in Mind

As healthcare construction in Charleston continues to grow in response to regional demand, the Point Hope Medical Office Building stands out as a symbol of progress and purpose. Its completion makes a significant step forward in meeting the medical needs of a rapidly expanding community, reinforcing Charleston’s reputation as a leader in innovative, patient-centered care.

From its strategic location to its thoughtfully designed spaces and integrated care model, this facility exemplifies the future of healthcare delivery in the Lowcountry.
