Constructing an Expansive Retail Destination
The project scope included the construction of seven retail shell buildings, totaling 300,000 SF of space to house more than 70 brand-name retailers. Shoppers enjoy direct access to their favorite lifestyle brands and global designers, spanning categories from apparel and footwear to home furnishings and cosmetics.
Committed to delivering more than just a shopping destination, Tanger Nashville reflects the company’s mission to invest in the local community. The outlet center launched its community engagement efforts with a donation to Friends of Mill Ridge Park, supporting outdoor recreation, education, and conservation efforts in the area.
Trusted Partnerships Enabling Community Development
This venture marked the third ground-up project in which Choate and Tanger have partnered. Before ground was broken, the Choate team worked closely with the owner and design team to successfully deliver this transformative project on schedule. The construction process created approximately 700 jobs, with the completed development generating nearly 1,100 full- and part-time retail and management positions — further solidifying its role as a vital economic driver for Davidson County.
Beyond its retail offerings, Tanger Nashville provides guests with a dynamic, family-friendly environment featuring a thoughtfully designed outdoor recreational space with a large screen and stage for community events, as well as locally and nationally acclaimed food and beverage options (both sit-down and quick-service restaurants). It also features several hand-painted murals throughout the property, enhancing the visual experience and celebrating local artists.
