Chip Wright

As Director of Preconstruction for the Charlotte office, Chip oversees the day-to-day activities of the department while also working directly on specific projects. Chip is known for his strength in Conceptual Estimating, wherein he is able  to accurately gauge projected costs with very limited information.

There are two types of people in this world. What are the two types?

I’ve always told my children that the two types of people in the world are Givers and Takers. It’s important to reflect on that in everything that you do, and to always aspire to be a Giver.

What do you wish you knew more about?

The financial markets. I can’t figure out how a company can announce record earnings one day and then their stock price drops 10% the next day!

If you could travel back in time, what period would you go to?

The Roman Empire.
