Dave Knudson

It is with deep sadness that we share Dave Knudson, Choate’s Chief Operating Officer, passed away on December 15 after a courageous battle with cancer. Dave leaves behind a tremendous legacy of knowledge and compassion, and we will miss him dearly.

Remembering him in his own words…

What hobby would you get into if time and money weren’t an issue?

There are actually two hobbies that I’d master – the first is flying jets which has always fascinated me because of the speed and ability to drop in to experience any place and culture on the planet. The other is playing the guitar and those close to me know that I love my live music!

What’s the best gift you’ve ever received?

The best gifts I’ve received are my education throughout the years and, of course, my family and friends – all of which I am very grateful!

What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most?

I really enjoy the freedom to strategize about Choate’s future and then team with anyone within Choate, as well as with our current or potential clients to facilitate the growth of our company. I am very excited about what the future holds for Choate Construction!
