Choate is pleased to announce Ryan Shanteau has joined the team as a Senior Preconstruction Manager in the Atlanta office.

Most recently employed as the Division Manager of Ortega Juneau Construction Company in Miami, FL. and previously as the Director of Preconstruction Service for Atlanta-based Juneau Construction Company, Shanteau has extensive experience in the higher education, student housing, and hospitality market segments.  Shanteau spent the first half of his career as a project manager before making the transition to preconstruction.  This unique blend of operations and preconstruction experience allows Ryan to not only offer clients thorough pricing and schedule feedback but also realistic constructability and site logistics input.

Shanteau’s preconstruction experience includes Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build experience, though his expertise is in a Design-Assist or CM at Risk role is where he truly shines; he enjoys working collaboratively with the Owner and Architect throughout the entire design process to ensure that the Owner’s program is maximized for the available budget.
