What’s something you like to do the old-fashioned way?

When I write anything, I still do the initial draft by hand on a pad of paper. I can think, edit, and reorganize more clearly if it is still on paper.

If you could choose your age forever, what age would you choose and why?

Whatever age I am when this is read. I don’t want to live in the past or create an expectation of the future. I am blessed in the present.

If given a chance, who would you like to be for a day and why?

I would like to be my son. Boone was diagnosed with autism at 15 months. We often struggle to know what is bothering him and why. If I could live his experience, I would be a better, more patient parent.
