The NASCAR Productions Facility was designed to meet the demands of modern live sports media. Delivered as a design-build project, the facility combines tilt-up concrete construction with structural steel framing to create an efficient, durable shell capable of housing highly specialized interior systems.
Inside, the facility includes television and radio studios, multiple control rooms, edit suites, announcer booths, and audio rooms. High-speed connectivity, advanced mechanical systems, and chemical fire suppression support the technical requirements of mission-critical broadcast operations. Additionally, it is fitted with a broadcast equipment room containing multiple equipment racks requiring a redundant mechanical system, chemical fire suppression, and A/B power and two broadcast studios.
Three studios and eight control rooms allow the facility to adapt to changing production models throughout the year. BIM technology was used throughout design and construction to coordinate the structure, building systems, and to analyze site efficiency. Constructing a facility of this complexity also required close collaboration with acoustic consultants, technology integrators, and engineering teams to ensure seamless performance across every space
Located near NASCAR’s team operations, the completed project gives the organization a modern production headquarters built for speed, flexibility, and future growth. It supports both live race coverage and year-round content creation in a facility designed for the sport’s expanding media future.
