It is with deep sadness that we share Dave Knudson, Choate’s Chief Operating Officer, passed away on December 15 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Dave leaves behind a tremendous legacy of knowledge and compassion, having spent 22 years at Choate and 42 years in the construction industry. Whether it was his passion for supporting our teams in delivering successful projects, his desire to inspire and help others grow and succeed, his willingness to embrace challenges and push the boundaries of what seemed possible, or his love of classic rock, Dave’s integrity and generosity of spirit touched the lives of countless colleagues, clients, and peers. We will miss him dearly.

While our hearts are heavy with this loss, we remain inspired by his extraordinary, lasting impact on our firm and our lives. We are grateful for the time we had with him, and we will lift him up in every brick we lay and ribbon we cut.
